Cheri Nichols

I am currently a stay-at-home mom, and a student at Seattle Central Community College studying to obtain a certificate in Database Administration and Development. I was laid off from WaMu, after almost seven years of employment, on 7/1/2009. My son was born on 7/15/2009. It has been quite the ride so far.

I selected the Database Administration and Development program because I love numbers, math, detail work, and organization. I also wouldn't mind becoming an accountant. My position at WaMu was within the Employee Service Center, with the last four years specifically in payroll. I have worked as an end user of PeopleSoft, and I am very interested in being a designer/programmer of it.
